If you’ve read about me on the website, then you know I’m a long distance runner. So imagine my happy surprise when I got an email from Abigail asking if we could do our meeting over a run. She said, “I know it’s probably unorthodox for a meeting, but fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, runners gotta run.” Word, girl. WORD.
Turns out, the “unorthodox” request made total sense – these two met when they were both members of the Georgetown University Triathlon Team. So Abigail and I went for an easy jaunt around downtown Montgomery, where I tried not to die going up South Perry Street. She told me fun stories about things they did while they were in school, a bit about their upcoming move to Switzerland (yes, you read that correctly), and what it was like to plan their Montgomery wedding from D.C. It was clear they were going to take on the world together, and when I met up with them for their engagement session, you could see why.
