Engagement: Jessica & Alex – Davis Arboretum – Auburn, Alabama

I kind of HAD to shoot this couple’s wedding, for a couple of reasons.  One: Alex has this super awesome handsome dog named Mason, who was involved in the proposal (insert girly squeal here – you know I love me some dog people).  Two: when I first met them, Jessica was training for her first marathon (which she has since run in Huntsville).  And let me just tell you – homegirl is FAST.  I can cover some distance, but if this was the story of the tortoise and the hare, I’d definitely be the tortoise.  She’d be the hare hanging out at the finish line sipping margaritas, waiting for my old *ss to finish an hour later!

I could squeeze this dog’s face off, he’s so expressive.  When I was editing the pictures, Mason’s face always seemed to be “saying” something.  Like, “The picture lady said you’re getting married, does this mean you can be my mom forever?” or “Ugh, they’re kissing.  I’m not looking.” 😉
