Maternity Portrait: April – Davis Arboretum – Auburn, Alabama

A very pregnant April made quite the trek to have me shoot her maternity portraits in a city she was completely unfamiliar with, and did it all by herself because her Auburn grad husband is in the military and hadn’t quite made it home yet.  She did it with a smile too, and let me just tell you, it’s a good one.  You know how some people have smiles that make YOU want to smile?  That’s her.  It’s like a blast of sunshine.  I can only imagine how big that smile was when her hubs was able to come home about a week after we took these pictures.  They didn’t find out the baby’s gender ahead of time, and since some say you can tell by how the baby is carried, I’ll let you guess if they had a boy or a girl:

P.S.  They had a very cute little BOY about a month after we shot this session!   🙂
