I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend, whether it be at home grilling out in the backyard, or tubing at the lake! I also hope that everyone will take a moment today to remember what the holiday is about.
I’m posting a picture from a friend and fellow photographer in Georgia, Neil Copeland. Neil is a Vietnam vet whose local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America has been raising funds for the past two years to erect this memorial – to honor the 25 men from Hall County, Georgia who served and died in Vietnam. The dedication was held yesterday. Thank you Neil, for this reminder of what Memorial Day really is about.
