After seeing the retro “Mad Men” inspired shoot I did with our mutual friend Ty, Josh approached me about doing a session with a few ideas of his own, including a Calvin Klein inspired look that could have come straight off their packaging (sorry ladies, those shots won’t be making an appearance here!). But he was also open to whatever I came up with – I wanted to keep the wardrobe really simple overall, because sometimes less is more.I also wanted to poke a little fun at a nickname Ty bestowed on Josh: “Superman”. Apparently, when Josh is in business attire, he looks a lot like Clark Kent. So I figured why not shoot Clark Kent turning into Superman in the studio? 🙂The first idea I had for the shoot had to be saved for last, because I wanted to involve water. So after putting down some towels and pressing water into a new shirt that seemed oddly water resistant, we got the look I wanted.Special thanks to Ty Eiland for helping with hair and wardrobe, as well as being the designated water pourer!
