Portrait: The Lord Family – Lake Martin Private Residence – Alexander City, Alabama

The Lord family is made up of three very goofy brothers, plus their parents, their wives and kids.  Then you add in some of THEIR kids’ wives and kids, and you have quite the fun bunch:

They came in from Atlanta and Baton Rouge and met at a house on Lake Martin in Alexander City for a family vacay.  Since it’s rare for big families to all be in the same place at the same time, they thought it would be a good time to get some family pictures done (if you’re reading this, you’re probably overdue for family pictures too – what are you waiting for?).    They got a little surprise the morning of their portrait session though: they were out on their boat and got caught in popup storm.  Thankfully, they made it back to the house okay and everything could continue as planned!
