Ashley & Adam’s Engagement

When I asked Ashley and Adam what we could incorporate into their engagement session to make it a little more personal, they came up with two things they like: having coffee at Cafe Louisa, and Auburn football! So we met up in Old Cloverdale and went from there. I noticed right away that Ashley has the most contagious smile! I shot her bridal portraits recently as well (although you won’t see those on the blog, for obvious reasons), and let me tell you, Adam is going to be blown away!

Alexandra & Savannah

If these two gorgeous sisters were my daughters, I think I’d have to lock them up and throw away the key. I love shooting them because they are so different (one blonde with blue eyes, one brunette with brown eyes), and they are willing to have fun (jumping up and down, splashing in the pool)! Of course, I also had to get a few of their “little brother” and cutest bulldog ever, Cledus!

The Riggle Family

Can I just say the Riggles are awesome??? Totally laid back, fun people, and all redheads! Even little Matthew was a trooper, he hung in there even though it was a little cold out!

The Franklin Family

The Franklins are awesome about taking direction! I think it took me two seconds to shoot each of the kids, they are pros! This year, we got mom and dad in there as well, which was great – just think, when was the last time you had a family portrait taken? (And one of just the kids doesn’t count!)

Studio D2

A few blog posts ago, I mentioned that I was asked to do some promo shots for the new addition to Doug’s 2 Salon, Studio D2. Well, the open house was held on Thursday, so I think it’s safe now to reveal the images they chose to go HUGE on the walls. The talented staff at Doug’s styled 5 lovely ladies, here are the final choices, as well as two shots of the images in the new space:

Thanks ladies, for being great models, and thanks again to my friend Andy Armstrong for being my second shooter and backup brain on this project (he’s responsible for the 3rd and 4th images above!).
