Engagement: Kristi & Corey – The Waters – Pike Road, Alabama

Planning a wedding can be tricky when the groom-to-be has to make frequent work-related trips to New Orleans. So once his scheduled confirmed an open weekend, Kristi and Corey saw their window of opportunity and put the entire thing together in just a few months – including scheduling their engagement session. 🙂Corey is a bit of a Frank Sinatra fan, so the hats were a little nod to that era:

Awards: Fearless Award!

It was my first time entering the Fearless Photographers image competition, and I have to admit, it was a little intimidating. There are some serious heavy hitters in the photography world who are members of Fearless, some of whom I know personally and get inspiration from on a daily basis. Out of 7500 total entries, 312 made the cut – and one was mine. 🙂Thanks to the judges this round for making me officially fearless!

Engagement: Shana & Bryan – Auburn, Alabama

It was only natural for us to start at Jordan-Hare Stadium, since one of Shana and Bryan’s very first dates was at an Auburn game:She wasn’t sure right away (she may or may not have been traumatized by an old picture involving a unibrow), but it didn’t take long for her to figure out he was the one. Because no matter how serious life requires you to be, everyone needs someone to be goofy with. 🙂
