Once upon a time, Rachel went to the gym, where she spotted one very cute guy from afar. She came home and told her best friend about him, and since they didn’t know his name, they dubbed him “Gym Crush”. We had just started taking a few portraits when tragedy struck – Rachel accidentally stepped on the inside of the front hem of her dress, making a heart shaped hole. Travis is both a firefighter and a farmer, so the groom’s cake from Cake Designs was spot on. I loved that they made sure the guy who was shoveling had a little dollop of icing on his shovel (and a corresponding divot in the cake)!.jpg "oaks-plantation-weddings-15")

A tip for future brides: if you decide to have your guests throw birdseed at your wedding, you may want to have it pre-portioned in small bags. Otherwise, it’s pretty much guaranteed that the entire container will end up on you…all at once!.jpg "oaks-plantation-weddings-21")
