When the new year rolls around, it’s kind of like a birthday – you look back on the previous year and reminisce, and hope that the next year is even better than the last. There are always ups and downs, but as a whole I can’t complain, 2011 was a great year full of great moments. I ran my first (and my second) half marathon. My dog Missy officially became a teenager when she had her 13th birthday in July. I went to 3 countries (Mexico, Jamaica, and France – Paris pictures are coming soon!). I watched one of my closest friends kick Stage IV cancer in the teeth. And of course, I had a year full of the best clients on the planet (to my photographer friends: I love you, but I’m convinced my clients are more awesome than yours). “Thank you” doesn’t seem like enough, but to my family, friends, and clients: THANK YOU. It’s because of you that I get to do what I do, and for that, I am always grateful. Chanterelle Photography already has some amazing things in the works for 2012, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you. 🙂Thanks Oubon for the pic of my midget self in action in Jamaica (yes, I had to come up on my toes a little bit to get the shot – don’t laugh!)!
So long 2011 – 2012 is on like Donkey Kong!
