The day began in the little town of Titus, under a blue Alabama sky:Jennifer had a unique two-tone Morilee dress, with a waist that looked impossibly tiny……but she really IS that small!I love how Troy’s face has this sweetness about it one minute……and then he looks like he could totally kick your butt the next. All of their portraits were shot just down the road from the church, around this little cabin, which happens to be where Jennifer’s grandmother was born:Jennifer and Troy were automotive overachievers – they had not one, not two, but THREE different cars in their wedding, starting with her grandfather’s Ford Model A:Jennifer’s grandfather is a judge, and co-officiated the ceremony. He made me (and everyone else) laugh – after Jennifer and Troy each said, “I do”, he would say “Gooood” in his sweet Southern drawl. He was so nervous that when he got to the part where he presents the bride and groom as “Mr. and Mrs. So-and-so”, he almost used Jennifer’s last name instead of Troy’s! I think it was worth it though, because he had a ringside seat as they literally, tied the knot:This picture from just after the ceremony (taken in the back of car #2, a vintage Bentley from Touch of Class) is a little more traditional than what I typically shoot, but I love it because they look so dang happy I can hardly stand it. 🙂 First dances are special……last dances can bring you to tears. And some dances let you show off your best moves:Last but not least, car #3, a red hot Studebaker:Jennifer & Troy – thank you so much for not melting. 🙂 I hope you had cooler weather on your Maine/New Hampshire/Boston honeymoon, and of course, a fantastic time.
