Wedding: Kaci & Ryan – Private Residence – Alexander City, Alabama

I confess: when I’m going to a wedding venue and I have to drive on a dirt road to get there, I get a little giddy. When I have to drive on two dirt roads AND one gravel road, I’m doing a very cheesy happy dance. There’s something special about a wedding in the country, and Kaci and Ryan’s wedding was no exception. The festivities took place at the home of Ryan’s grandparents. Ryan’s grandmother is multi-talented – she was responsible for some of the catering, as well as all of the flowers:Loved these Nine West shoes (and the Alfred Angelo dress!):Yep, Ryan’s grandmother did all these flowers too (accented with pheasant feathers – perfect for the country setting):The lovely deck behind the house served as a dramatic dance floor:Plenty of candles and firelight set the mood – and what better way to enjoy a fire than with s’mores?Thanks Kaci & Ryan for letting me drive down a couple of dirt roads to hang with you – I hope your Hawks Cay honeymoon in the Florida Keys was amazing!
