Meghan and Adam’s wedding was a different one for me – because I hadn’t even spoken to either one of them until the big day. When the photographer that was originally scheduled to shoot their wedding was injured, my buddy (and Virginia wedding photographer) Tom Sanderson put the word out that a replacement was needed asap. Long story short, within a week I was on a plane to Newport News, and all was well. 🙂
Apparently they had luck on their side – even though it was overcast and a bit windy, the rain held off. Wind’s always good for a little veil fun.Their ceremony was held at Abingdon Episcopal Church – which I thought was a funny coincidence because Abingdon is the name of the neighborhood I live in.When they made their exit from the church, they snuck around back to give everyone time to come out of the church and line up for their getaway. They look giddy, don’t you think?Time for a couple quick pics before the reception at Kingston Plantation and Inn:The maid of honor told a very funny story during her toast that involved Meghan mistaking a life sized cutout of Legolas from The Lord of the Rings for an intruder. He even made an appearance. 🙂Some of the best wedding reception dancers I’ve ever seen hit the dance floor – I laughed when the DJ spun “Sweet Home Alabama”.Thanks to Meghan and Adam for being so gracious and welcoming me with open arms!
LOVE IT. especially the dancing. 🙂 haha Great pics!
Julie – The dancing photos are a HOOT!
