Once upon a time, Rachel went to the gym, where she spotted one very cute guy from afar. She came home and told her best friend about him, and since they didn’t know his name, they dubbed him “Gym Crush”. Little did she know that one day, “Gym Crush” would have his name next to hers on their wedding invitation. 🙂
Gotta love Rachel’s “old Hollywood” hair (held back by a brooch). Perfect with her simple J. Crew gown and shoes from the Lela Rose collection for Payless (yes, Payless!!!):
We had just started taking a few portraits when tragedy struck – Rachel accidentally stepped on the inside of the front hem of her dress, making a heart shaped hole. With a little help from mom, the tragedy was averted. Rachel didn’t freak out or shed a tear…
…but when it came time to walk down the aisle, there was no holding it in.
Want a super cute alternative to a guest book? Rachel and Sean’s guests added their fingerprints and names to this tree (which happened to look a lot like the trees on the property):
The reception reflected Rachel’s New Orleans upbringing, with fleur-de-lis and touches of burlap spelling out “Bienvenue” (beautifully coordinated by Julie Bunkley of Invision Event Consulting and Production):
Special thanks to Rachel and Sean – you and your guests are so buff I felt like I needed to go work out after the wedding was over!
Love the masks! good impression given by the photographer.
