On a warm sunny day in Troy at Bush Memorial Baptist Church, Craig put on his spiffiest duds – including a Victorinox watch (his wedding gift from Stephanie):
After a hectic morning, Stephanie donned her Coco Anais gown, and read a letter from her husband-to-be. In it he mentioned how someone once told him that life is like a coin, you only get to spend it once – and if he had a thousand coins, he would spend them all on her (excuse me while I swoon for a minute):
I love this kid. Just sayin’.
The reception at the Troy University Stadium Club was designed by LeRae Events (who also did all the wedding flowers). The entry featured an elegant mirror, flanked by tall arrangements and romantic floating candles:
The bride’s cake featured a sparkly brooch, while the groom’s cake included a compass – a little nautical nod to the marine biologist groom:
The newlyweds entertained their guests by singing with the Waterfall band, made even more fun with the addition of a signature cocktail in a shade of lavender to match the bridesmaids’ dresses:Stephanie & Craig – thank you for letting me be a part of your day! After the story Stephanie told me about using the credit card for the first time, you will always be Mr. & Mrs. “Schimma” to me! 🙂
