Wedding: Tonya & Robert – Jasmine Hill Gardens – Wetumpka, Alabama

Judging by the amount of laughter at their engagement session, I expected that Tonya and Robert’s wedding would be a relaxed and fun one. Tonya had to concentrate to keep from laughing when her maid of honor put on her makeup, while the tunes of their favorite singer, Taylor Swift, played in the background.I expected Robert would arrive in his black Corvette, and would have no problem making his “sexy face” – and even though a too-small shirt threw him a momentary curveball, he delivered:What I didn’t expect were the many touching, truly heartfelt moments that happened over the course of the day. I wanted to squeeze Tonya’s grandparents – I hope when I am their age, that my husband and I are as sweet as this:And if you’ve read some of my previous wedding blog posts, then you know I have a soft spot for daddies and daughters – when Tonya’s dad got choked up during his toast, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.Special thanks to Tonya and Robert and the O’Banion and McGonagle families for letting me be a part of such a sweet (and hot!) day!
