When the photographer that was originally scheduled to shoot their wedding was injured, my buddy (and Virginia wedding photographer) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomsandersonphotography.com\/\">Tom Sanderson<\/a> put the word out that a replacement was needed asap.  Long story short, within a week I was on a plane to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newport-news.org\">Newport News<\/a>, and all was well.  \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>Apparently they had luck on their side &#8211; even though it was overcast and a bit windy, the rain held off. which I thought was a funny coincidence because Abingdon is the name of the neighborhood I live in.<a href=\"https:\/\/chanterellephotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/taylorblog08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/chanterellephotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/taylorblog08.jpg\" alt=\"taylorblog08\" title=\"taylorblog08\" width=\"900\" height=\"643\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chanterellephotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/taylorblog08.jpg 900w, https:\/\/chanterellephotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/taylorblog08-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a>When they made their exit from the church, they snuck around back to give everyone time to come out of the church and line up for their getaway.
