Part of the WPPI<\/a> (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention is the WPPI International Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition. This competition is held once a year, and entries come from photographers all over the world, including the best of the best. I know that just a few weeks before the convention (and a good month after the entry deadline) they STILL had 150 boxes of prints left to open and sort! The prints are scored by a panel of judges, and all the prints scoring high enough to receive an Accolade of Excellence or better are hung in an exhibition that is open to view during the convention.<\/p>\n

So I go strolling through the print exhibition and spot a few prints from friends of mine, then I get to the end of one aisle and see this:<\/p>\n
