The first wedding was on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gohawaii.com\/big-island\">The Big Island<\/a>, and it turned out to be one of my favorite destinations ever (and if you know me, you know I like to travel, so that&#8217;s saying a lot). While I was there, I ran 10 miles of the marathon portion of the course&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chanterellephotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/hawaii-travel-photography-05.jpg\" alt=\"a destination wedding photographer shoots the big island of hawaii\" title=\"hawaii-travel-photography-05\" width=\"900\" height=\"445\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4064\" paddleboard out to the buoy marking the turn on the swim course:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" whale watch and swim with the friendly &#8220;honu&#8221; (green sea turtles)&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
