I love when couples take an active role in choosing the location for their engagement session. Since they both work in downtown Montgomery (she’s an environmental scientist, he works for RSA), Colleen and Jacob knew they wanted their pictures taken downtown, but they took it a step further. Jacob went out and scouted some specific locations for pictures, including a spot overlooking downtown – a spot where the two of them used to hang out. The groom-to-be is not typically as involved as the bride-to-be in the wedding planning process (including the engagement picture locations), so I totally wanted to high five Jacob for going the extra mile.
I also loved that they were both easygoing personalities and were very comfortable interacting with one another – totally the kind of couple I like! Does this picture give you Chip and Joanna vibes or is it just me?
Stay tuned for photos from their wedding at The Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum and reception at The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts!
