Sometimes when I meet people, ideas for shoots pop into my head. That’s exactly what happened when I met my friend Scott. So when I was making a trip to Toronto earlier this year, Scott drove in from his place in London, Ontario so we could make it happen. Unfortunately, we weren’t expecting to deal with snow, and freezing winds blowing said snow completely sideways. Kind of hard to do an outdoor shoot when your eyes are watering from the wind and your hands are practically numb from the cold, you know? So we had to abandon my original vision, but we decided to try and see what we could come up with. When I first met Scott, I thought he looked like a certain celebrity, but I couldn’t put my finger on which one. He says people tell him he looks like Edward Norton. He definitely has some expressions that look just like Edward, but I think his smile has a little Dennis Quaid in it:Scott, you’re a doll – thanks for hanging in there and waiting oh so patiently for me to finally get to these pictures!
Julie, your photographs are so, well, beautiful! What a handsome subject, he does look like a mix between Edward and Dennis! Not too shabby 😉
