I love easygoing families, especially when the little ones are cooperative – the Murphy family is definitely one of those! They were up for anything I asked, they even hugged and squeezed each other so well we lost an earring!

A custom holiday card can be a real showstopper – this year, I’ll be designing 5×7 folded cards, which will be printed on fantastically textured, watercolor paper-like cardstock. As always, they will be designed completely from scratch, so that no two cards are alike. This type of card lends itself to tons of design options; you can choose to include up to 5 images from your session, as well as any greeting and/or names you choose. I’ll work with you on a color scheme and style, whether it be simple, shabby chic, or ultra modern! See below for a sample of the front and inside of a card – remember the design possibilities are endless!

When my good friend Kim got engaged last year, I was so happy when she asked me to shoot her wedding and help with the planning. After a gazillion emails back and forth, several shopping trips, and a few weekend brainstorming sessions, this was the result! She wanted a whimsical look, and I think we were able to accomplish that with everyone’s help!
There was a candy table complete with bags for guests to make their own favors – perfect place for a fun ring shot:

We decided to tackle the flowers ourselves – I was honored to make Kim’s bouquet, complete with a tiny picture I shot of her dog Shadow, and an heirloom handkerchief borrowed from her dear friend Marcia:

If you like to send a family portrait out for Christmas, time is getting short! In order to receive your finished prints with ample time for mailing to friends and family, YOUR SESSION MUST BE SHOT BEFORE NOVEMBER 1st and your orders must be placed by November 25th. This allows time for proper editing of your proofs, time for you to make your choices, and time for the order to be processed and shipped. I think Jessica has to be one of the cutest pregnant women I’ve ever seen! I actually had a very hard time editing her pictures because she couldn’t take a bad one if she tried. I can’t wait for her girls (TWINS!) to see how beautiful their mom is, and I can’t wait to meet them myself!
